This weekend was one of my favorite kinds: I stayed close to home, spent catching up with some of the most important people to me, and did a little shopping.
On Saturday, I did a big ASOS order (PSA: they’ve been having major sales lately) so stay tuned for a try on haul. I also ventured out to a local brewery and caught up with some of my girlfriends from college. In true Seattle fashion, the weather didn’t get the memo about our plans and we got rained out of the beer garden…but we made the best of it, of course.
Sunday was spent with my sister, the gorgeous girl behind the camera for these photos. We braved the blustery weather to pay a visit to the famous and absolutely beautiful cherry blossoms at the University of Washington. They don’t tend to stick around for long, so I’m glad we were able to catch them when they were in full bloom (and, shockingly, while the Quad wasn’t absolutely packed!). We spent the rest of the morning browsing the stores at University Village. I picked up a few too many fun things at Sephora like these self-tanning face wipes, this incredible-smelling overnight mask, and this brightening serum. I swear I’m a different person with no self control when I enter a Sephora, there are so many fun things to try! We ended our shopping excursion at Madewell. I’ve been desperately needing to refresh my denim selection, so I was excited to find this perfect pair of black high-waisted skinnies, and this fun wide-legged cropped pair. I also picked up this cute silk scarf that I will definitely be packing with me for Stagecoach at the end of the month.
One of my favorite transition pieces for spring? A great denim skirt.
