There’s something pretty exciting about not waiting for the weekend to really be yourself. I used to have two wardrobes, rarely make plans for the weekdays and always live for Friday. Does anyone else do that? I just got in this habit, and had a hard time breaking out of it. A few weeks ago, I got to thinking…why?
Honestly, I’ve decided not to live for the weekend anymore. There’s no point in living your life for Friday, for the weekend, for that vacation, and so on. This will mean something different for everyone, but we want to bring back those weekly challenges from when we first started the blog and embrace something each week that we are passionate about. This weeks is being true to you, Sunday to Saturday, regardless of who you’re with. For us, this means our wardrobe. We gravitate towards pieces that might be better for a special type of occasion (hello, mesh and mules), but that doesn’t really make sense to separate yourself out like that. So, here’s to embracing who you are and rocking whatever, whoever and whenever you feel comfortable.
What would you change with this week’s challenge? We’d love to hear in the comments!
