Not sure about you guys, but sometimes, it’s easy to get caught up in a routine and do the same thing, go to the same restaurants, and shop at the same stores. Yet (almost) every time we do, I absolutely love the outcome and am so happy to have explored or ventured out of my comfort zone. Last weekend, I went out for drinks to celebrate five years with my guy and we went to a new speakeasy bar in Fremont called The Backdoor. It was so amazing! The vibe was so cool, and the drinks were even better. Highly recommend the Resurrection if you like Mezcal and a little spice.
Last night, I went to a beautiful Italian restaurant in Pioneer Square called Intermezzo Carmine and it was one of the best Italian meals in the city. (Portions were a little small, so I’d recommend going with family style and ordering a mix of salads, pasta and something else depending on your group.) Case in point, venturing out and trying new things is good for the soul, and your tastebuds. Here’s to new adventures, wherever they may be.
