This weekend was truly one for the books. We talked earlier this week about our blog birthday, which we celebrated on Sunday, but it really was a jam packed weekend filled with our favorite people. Birthdays will do that though, right? The best ones at least! Friday was Haley’s actual birthday, so after work, it was a special Italian meal at San Fermo. We’ve both been wanting to try this spot (it’s relatively new) and it was amazing. The food was so good, and it’s in this old little house right on Leary Avenue in Ballard. After that, we met up with our closest friends for a casual evening of drinks, games and the weather cooperated so we were able to be outside. All our Seattleites out there know that’s been touch and go lately, so we were really excited!
Of course, the birthday festivities continued on Saturday with more brunching and a ton of prep for Sunday’s party. But early in the evening, we had another GNO. It started with appetizers and champagne at Ashley’s house and then, well, more drinking. We jumped around a few places in Ballard and ended the evening with margaritas, chips, salsa and guac. Does it get any better than that?
Sunday afternoon, we ventured downtown to walk around Pioneer Square. While we were hiding from the rain (because we were obviously not dressed appropriately), we ran into the King Street Station and snapped a few outfit photos. Love finding gorgeous backdrops in unexpected places.
