Over the last few months I have been especially interested in trying out new beauty and skincare products. I’m always tinkering with my skincare routine, adapting to how my skin is acting at the time, the weather, or just for a new product I’m excited to try. Through this recent exploration, I’ve found that I have a few holy-grail products that just can’t be topped, but I’ve also discovered a few new favorites. Here are some of the products that stand out in my beauty cabinet.
Kristen Ess Leave-In Conditioner
Honestly, I’m obsessed with every product that I’ve tried from this line, but this one is my most-used and therefore most loved. It smells amazing and leaves my hair softer, shinier and stronger. I usually use it on wet hair before I blow dry or let my hair air dry. But, I’ve also found that a little bit works well on dry hair to give your ends a little extra moisture.
Glossier Balm Dotcom
Hands down, best lip balm. The consistency is thick, but not that sticky, goopy texture that some lip balms have. It’s super moisturizing and stays on for hours — even after multiple cups of coffee, meetings, etc. My favorite scent is the coconut, but I’ve had my eye on the tinted shades as well.
Clarisonic Smart Profile Set
I took the plunge and invested in this set a few months ago, and have been so happy with it. It comes with a daily brush head that is gentle enough to use twice a day, and it leaves my skin feeling softer and cleaner than any cleanser alone. I am always so surprised how much make up comes off even after I’ve used a make up removing wipe!
Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream
I picked up a little travel sized version of this last time I was at Sephora and I’m hooked. It instantly makes my under eyes look and feel brighter and less puffy. I use this as my morning eye cream, so I love that it’s a lighter formula that sits well under makeup.
NeuLash Lash Enhancing Serum
I get asked quite often about my eyelashes and if I have lash extensions or am wearing falsies. This is the product that I thank for that. I had lash extensions for a few months about a year and a half ago, and when I decided to stop keeping up with them, I switched over to this serum. After a few weeks of daily use, my lashes are naturally just as long as they were with the extensions, with much less hassle required for upkeep.
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream
I picked this up on a whim at Sephora, and the girl at the check out said “This is a cult product. You are going to be hooked.” And…she was totally right. It’s a little pricey for a moisturizer, but has been so worth it. It goes on light, but is ultra-hydrating. My skin is pretty dry, especially in the winter months, so it has been been soaking this stuff up and looking so much more dewy and hydrated.
GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
I’ve probably mentioned this mask too many times at this point…but it just didn’t feel right to leave it off of this list. It is truly my most favorite mask, whether I need a full treatment to clarify and brighten my whole face or just a little spot treatment, this mask works wonders. I notice a difference in my skin immediately after use, the mask leaves skin smoother, calmer, brighter and more clear.
