For the past few days I have been vacationing in Antigua with my boyfriend, Dylan. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know that we have been having the absolute best time. We are staying at Galley Bay Resort, and I could not recommend it more. We have a private bungalow with a backyard and little pool (perfect for daily poolside happy hours, obviously) and the staff is absolutely incredible. It’s safe to say we have been taking in our fair share of sunshine and rum.
While we’ve been here, there are a few products that I have been relying on heavily. When you’re packing light for a week away, a few trusty products that you can mix and match and use daily are essential.
I love this sunscreen from Glossier. It provides great protection, doesn’t make me break out, and goes on clear so you don’t end up with that sticky white film that some sunscreens leave all over your face.
Universal Thread Slide Sandals
I picked up this pair on a whim right before we left and I have been so happy with them. I have been wearing them every day, straight from the beach to dinner. They are comfortable, durable, and go with just about anything. Another perk? They’re only $25.
I say the bigger the better when it comes to sunglasses. For this trip, I limited myself to just packing one pair and brought along my trusty Quay sunnies.
As I get older, I have been trying to take extra caution when it comes to protecting my face from the sun. That’s why I have been living in my straw boat hat for the past week. It keeps my face protected, but is cute enough to wear out straight from the beach to lunch.
I love loose, breezy pieces when I’m staying anywhere tropical. I love that a wrap dress has that carefree, swingy vibe but still has a flattering silhouette. I have already worn this red floral one on more than one occasion…it’s just the perfect cut and the color looks even better when you’re sporting a little bit of a tan.
What are your go-to pieces to pack on a warm getaway?
